However you spend your college football Saturdays, CFB Pick'Em was built to make them just a little more special. Every Saturday brings a slate of 10 marquee games — make your picks, win the week, and chase the season-long goal: the most points and the League Champion crown. Point values grow as the season winds down, and a few different formats kick in when it matters most.
Beyond your weekly pick total, you're also paired head-to-head against another league member every week — win that matchup and you'll add Matchup Points toward the season standings too.
Scoring depends on your league's settings, determined by your admin — tap the week type badge next to the week name in the Picks tab to see exactly how that week scores.
Inspired by ESPN College GameDay's Superdog segment. Pick your best underdog (+4.5 or more) from Saturday's full slate — one pick a week, across every league. Cover the spread for 5 pts, win outright for 5 + the spread, push for 1 pt. Superdog points don't count toward your CFB Pick'Em league standings. Bigger dogs pay out more, smaller dogs are more likely to hit — it's a trade-off.
The goal is to accumulate the most points throughout the season against CFB Pick'Em players across all leagues for ultimate bragging rights.
Pick one Power 4 team (ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, SEC) to win outright each week — only Power-4-vs-Power-4 games count. Everyone's opted in automatically, across every league.
You can pick a given team for the win once all season, and pick against a given team once all season — two separate limits, tracked independently. A team you already picked can still show up as an opponent later (and vice versa) — it just can't repeat in the same role. A wrong pick or a missed deadline eliminates you. Last one(s) standing wins.
Survivor points don't count toward your CFB Pick'Em league standings — this is a separate, season-long game for bragging rights. Since the real-world schedule is already set, you can pick ahead for future weeks any time, not just the current one.
Games are graded automatically the moment they go final — you don't need the app open for it to happen. If you've got push notifications on, you'll get a ping the instant each of your picked games ends, telling you whether you got it right. On iPhone, push notifications only work once you've added the app to your Home Screen (Share → Add to Home Screen) — do that first if you're not seeing them.
Every week has a lock time — once it passes, picks for that week are frozen and can't be changed. You'll get a push notification (if enabled) 2 hours before a week locks, so don't sleep on it.
On top of your raw pick points, each week you're paired 1-on-1 against another league member. Whoever scores more that week (pick points minus any penalties) wins the matchup and earns bonus points toward the season standings; a tie splits the points between you both. Exact point values are configurable per season by the league admin — ask them if you want the current numbers.
League admins can apply point deductions for a given week (missed deadlines, league infractions, etc.). Penalties reduce your score for that week's head-to-head matchup and your season total.

Add or remove players for a specific season — uses whichever league is selected via the panel above.
Deduct points from a player for a specific week. Penalties are shown in the week leaderboard and season standings.
Auto-generate a round-robin schedule (everyone plays everyone once, rotating) for this league's standard weeks. Generate a preview, reroll if you want a different draw, then save.
Platform-wide tools that apply across every league. For a specific league's weeks, games, and picks, use the regular Admin tab instead.
Everything submitted through the menu's Suggestions box, newest first.
Every background job (score grading, Superdog, Survivor, notifications) — when it last ran, whether it succeeded, and how often it fires. Changes here take effect immediately, no redeploy needed.
Every league shares its games from a pool source — this only ever applies to the pool source league itself. Set the league switcher at the top to it first.
Browse the full ESPN schedule for any week and click games to add them to your pool.
Edit week settings including label, lock time, current week, and scoring mode.
Enter/edit scores, spreads, and groups for a week's games. Grading and season stats recompute automatically once a week's games are final — these buttons are manual overrides for edge cases, not something you need to touch routinely.
Recompute season stats (pick points + matchup points − penalties) for all finalized weeks, for any league — not just ones you administer.
Reference team data (names, logos, colors) shared across every league.
Only use this for standard and rivalry weeks — skip Championship Weekend and Bowl Mania calendar weeks entirely, since those aren't spread-driven the same way.
Locks automatically at 12:00 PM Eastern on that Saturday — no per-game locking, since only Saturday games are ever eligible.
Enter the real-world start/end dates for the week — games are fetched for that exact range, not ESPN's own week numbering (which can bleed into the wrong week). Lock time is derived automatically from the earliest kickoff once synced.
